Both require clean, specific, structured listing data to return confident answers.

The COSMO layer most sellers have never heard of

Running beneath Rufus is a system called COSMO: Amazon's commonsense knowledge graph that handles semantic intent matching.

COSMO contains 6.3 million nodes and 29 million relationship edges. It was trained on two primary data sources: search-buy pairs (what customers searched for and then purchased) and co-buy pairs (products purchased together). It uses roughly 30,000 human-validated annotations to train an efficient language model called COSMO-LM, which generates commonsense knowledge assertions at scale.

The tactic that works: run through the top 20 competitors' Q&A sections in your category, document every question asked, then seed your own listing with those questions answered in plain, specific language. Target the objections and edge cases: "Will this melt at high temperatures?" "Does this fit in a standard cup holder?" "Is the base wide enough to not tip over?" These are the queries buyers are asking Rufus directly. Your Q&A section is where those answers live.

Write titles as spec statements, not marketing headlines.
